  • 1 cup dried dates
  • 2 tablespoons chopped walnuts
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • 2 teaspoons floor nutmeg
  • 2 cups milk, divided
  • five cups all-reason flour
  • 1 cup dry pancake blend
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 2 cups packed brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 cups applesauce
  • half of teaspoon almond extract
  • half cup butter
  • 1 egg

Instructions :

  • In a medium length frying pan, deliver sherry to a gentle boil. Stir the dried dates, walnuts, lemon zest and nutmeg into it. Cook till sherry has boiled down (lessen the aggregate). Immediately add milk and set within the refrigerator. Chill half of hour.
